Tues 15th September - What small DFW things have you done today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important
Good morning lovely DFWs! Hope all is well - *waves to you regulars and says come in to any new posters*:p
I wanted to stay in bed today - it was dark when the alarm went off...booooo. Have open evening at secondary for DD2 tonight, hope it doesn't go on too late!
List for today:

Morning Milly, thanks for starting the thread!!
What a miserable morning here, dull, windy, grey, yuk! I think the Indian summer has finished.....
Today:
- check online banking
- Quidco clicks
- packed lunches all round
- tea from freezer - sausages and home made chips
- ironing (didnt get to it yesterday )
- sort & post some letters
- Pay DDs school trip instalment (money from her savings account)
Aim for a NSD - have decided not to count my grocery shopping on a NSD, as my grocery shopping is all budgetted. But I often get bread/veg etc (within the budget) through the week, which blows the NSDs! So today will be a NSD as all I need to get is bread! Does that make sense?!
Have a good day everyone xxx0 -
