I love ironing and so much so I've even considered putting a card in the local shop window to help pay off some debt. Nothing like seeing those creases disappear...must be something to do with being a perfectionist!

Hoovering is another enjoyable chore.....and all those calories burned!! :rotfl:

I get paid to do ironing..nothing nicer than seeing a linen basket full of nicely ironed clothes and then getting paid for it! :D

Me to. As I can't iron for toffee. I always seem to put more creases than I take out :rotfl:

I only iron when I have to - more in the summer as in response to Amosworks' comment, yes, I use the T/d in the winter, but not in the summer.

However the downside is that today and yesterday, having hung clothes out on the line before I went to work (7.30am) they were like cardboard when I got home @ 6pm.

I always fluff up towels in the TD though even if I dried them on the line :o

TD summer and winter here, but it is a gas powered one so cheaper to run than electric...I hate ironing and used to pay someone to do it but now don't tend to have any as I shake and fold whilst warm.

msn_ooooh.pngmsn_ooooh.pngmsn_ooooh.png I'm quite frankly shocked at home many people not only don't do ironing but use the tumble drier of all things for a non-MSE shortcut. In winter it's not so bad but in summer would you still use it then?! msn_ooooh.png

Just being awkward - I used to do a lot of ironing, but now I tend to get the clothes dry on the line and just put them in the dryer on a cool setting to get them dry enough to put away. I wonder if there is much difference in the cost between running a dryer for 10 minutes or heating an iron up for half an hour or more??

I hate ironing and so my OH does most of it for me, though i can't say he likes doing it much either LOL.

I couldn't live without the people who clean my outside bin, i hate bins and they barely charge anything so it is worth it. I get a nice cleanish, hygenic outdoor bin which is important without the stomach churning act of doing it myself.
