Spent the last several years sub-contracting building conservatories and have now decided to go back to working solely for myself as a joiner/builder.I am currently pricing up a kitchen for somebody and my mate Mark(who i worked with on the conservatories) reckons that if she has a new oven and hob that she has to have an extractor and that it has to be vented to the outside i.e. filter not good enough.Does anyone know if this is true or are there any links to new regs sites where i can read up on this stuff?I think i need to get down to building control but don't have the time at the moment.I've already had one shock;the price of materials has skyrocketed in the time i have been subbying.Got used to just buying stuff on their account without asking the price first.Need to get back up to speed and fast.
