What does it mean if some pictures have red X's in them? It isn't every picture so what is wrong with my pc?

It just means the picture can't load. Does it happen in e-mails?
I think it's when the picture was actually a link to a picture hosted on a website somewhere, rather than being an attachment in the e-mail, and there is a problem with the website so you can't load the picture.
So nothing wrong with your PC I think.0 -
Picture is missing on the remote website or being blocked (possibly by an adult content filter).
It can also happen if your connection is so slow that the image transfer times out.0
