Convert from Child Savings A/c

My daughter turns 16 in a month and Standard Life have said they need to convert her child savings account. I assumed it would be OK until she leaves F/T education. Anyway, can anyone suggest a good way forward - currently her plan is to stay on to 6th Form and go to Uni. Many tks.
