itunes & windows media player

hi does any1 know how i transfer all my music from windows to itunes so that i can sync it to my ipod? i just cant get my head around it lo!!

    Locate where your music is stored, and drag it all into an iTunes window. It will add it to your iTunes library. Or you can use one of these methods.

    If your music is in WMA format, it will automatically convert it to a format iTunes likes.
  • your a star marty! thanks a mill!! any ideas if i can sync music from itunes to a non apple device? if i cant do this how do i transport any music from itunes to windows? its just some new tracks ive downloaded have automatically went to windows and not itunes!!

    iTunes is only for Apple devices. The only non-Apple device I can think of that can sync with iTunes is the Palm Pre (and the latest version of iTunes disabled even that).

    You should be able to transfer tracks by just dragging them from one to the other. If you want to juggle using both iTunes and Windows Media Player, change the import settings in each to mp3. Then if you rip a CD using one, it will be in a format that the other understands.
