Abbey First Home Saver Account - No Sortcode?

I opened an Abbey First home saver account a couple of weeks back and got a letter of confirmation through with the amount I opened the account with and the other stuff like account number etc. However, there is nothing indicating towards the account having any kind of sortcode. I noticed the sortcode part of the slip on the receipt when I first opened the account was blank but thought that the person who administered the slip must have accidentally missed it off?
The problem lies in that I'm trying to set a standing order up to the account online but Natwest won't allow me unless I enter the sortcode of the account, which either I haven't got or it doesn't exhist at all?
I tried ringing them up but you have to enter your 16 digit card number to get through and I don't have an Abbey card as this is the only account I have with them.
Can anyone shed any light on this by any chance?

If the account starts with a letter, then numbers then the first three letters of your surname then the sort code is 09-00-00 account number 0005 0005 then in the reference number field the account number as detailed above e.g. X12345678CLA.
If the account number is an 8 figure number then I'm sorry I don't know the sort code. But if you ring the number that you rang before and don't bother putting any numbers in, eventually you will get through to a person to ask the question.I am a Mortgage Adviser
