Laptop key has come off- help!

How do you click a laptop key back on? I found a video on youtube but the key that came off has come off with the "scissor" mechanism and I can't seem to be able to clip it back on. Help? :S

Are the little clips on the back of the key intact, or does it look like anything has snapped off?

This happens regularly with one of the keys on my laptop at home (always the same key so obviously I'm not fixing it permanently).

All I do is attempt to "hook it on" at the top then gently ease it towards me and down pressing firmly until it clicks into place.

Mine usually stays fixed until my granddaughter uses it again :(

It doesn't look like anything has snapped off, but because the scissor mechanism thing is still on the key (they flicked off together), I can't seem to be able to clip it back on again.

Thanks for the link. Only problem is the white hinge thing is still on the key, and I don't know whether I should try to take that off and put that on separately first.

Was your listed there on the link i put on ? If it was did it say keep hinge on key ? I have a Vostro 1510 and i had to put the jigsaw bits into the cap then click on to laptop keyboard .Sounds easy but it wasnt at all. At least you can still use your keyboard but its so annoying with 1 off .
Ok i just clicked on all the links and all of those look like you clip the jigsaw thingy onto keypad then put the key on top.
