Hi guys,

Just wondered what experiences you have had when swapping Gas and Electric suppliers?

I have run through the comparison sites and it looks like POWERGEN offer best prices for me but I have heard some horror stories about them.......

HELP!!!!!

    I've been Money Tipped!
Well I am sat on the phone to BG re my electric change to them this year. Rubbish is all I can say.

They set me up on the wrong tariff - I have had to send them photocopies of what I should be on. I did this 2 months ago and they still say have a backlog and have not yet done!!!! In the meantime I have a bill £60 more than it should be

Switched last year to Scottish for gas & electricity at the same time and true to there word gave me a annual refund £30 to my bank account and £30 off my gas bill all done without having to remind them.
Customer services are friendly and helpful a if you update your meter readings via CS they send you an amended statement within a few days.
Unfortunately there have had to increase their tariffs so I am waiting for the bill for the next quarter before considering moving again.
overall good no complaints or issues.

I have been with POWERGEN a few years and have always been happy with both the prices and service. You contact them via a 0800 freephone number and you generally get through to a person unlike some other providers with press this and press that

I did have a problem with Powergen recently in being put on the correct tariff. But I must admit, they have dealt with it quickly and it's nice to get through on the phone quickly and actually speak to a real person. Very polite and helpful also.

It doesn't matter what anyone else has been through because everyone will have some kind of horror story (or know someone else who has) about the different companies, and chances are things will run smoothly for you.

You should not be put off by comments, unless there are serious integrity issues!
It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.
