paid for tv not recieved, no refund

Hi could someone give me abit of advise? I purchased a tv from an online company in august paid for it by paypal, after a week it never turned up i phoned company they said due to stock it can take up to 21 days. i waited still no tv,phoned again they said paypal aren't releasing payments and i that i should file a dispute to get money back then pay in another way.I filed a dispute, paypal said that in my favour i would recieve refund in 7 days.A week later i recieved email saying refund failed they couldn't get funds from the seller.

Every time i contact website no one will phone me back.paypal have closed the dispute,does anyone know where i stand on getting my money back. thanks

I would tell PayPal that you are going to report them to the Financial Ombudsman Service, I've recently reported them on another matter and they've immediately refunded my money.

This won't be the first time PayPal have acted as judge, jury and executioner. I second contacting the FOS, and put this arrogant, self-serving company in its place.

I've had a look on site jabber and it seems im not the only one this has happened to, it looks like iwantthatgift website is a scam:mad:

I have just contacted my bank they are going to refund my money, then they are going to get it back from paypal

Ohhhh you are very lucky especially if you paid via a debit card unless it was Visa?
