Hello i have 505 virgin shares and have been sent the offer for share holders now NTL have come on board, please feel free to comment
1. Sell the shares back to them for 3.72 each
2. Take NTL shares on the basis of 0.23245 for each virgin share
3. Take NTL share on the basis of 0.18596 for each share plus 67p.
My question is do i sell the shares and take the risk they dont increase greatly, or one of the other options. I could do with the money, but i have tried to forget i have them and would to sit on them, only from the point of view i have enjoyed owning some shares. My grand plan was to sell them in 2 years when my others shares from virgin which i buy each month contrract ends, and will get get a large bonus plus the money i have invested back, or buy shares at a greatly reduced rate.
I have had the previous thread closed as i was asking for advise, please COMMENT, NOT ADVISE. THANKS.

Difficult to comment as it would probably be seen as advice.
All I can suggest is that you look at the NTL business and decide whether this is something you believe could be successful and generate value for shareholders.
Good luck!0 -
If you NTL shares, then take option 2. If you don't take option 1. If you want to hedge your bets take option 3.
Just imagine that you have been paid the cash out already. Would you subsequently buy NTL shares? If the answer is no, don't.I'm an Investment Manager. Any comments I make on this board should be not be construed as advice, and are for general information purposes only.0
