Greasypalm - rebate catcher

I just recently - two days ago- signed up fro Greasy Palm following advice on MSE and finding I used some of the sites giving rebates.
What I didn't realise was that GP has downloaded a whopping great programmme called rebate catcher which weighs in at 2452 MB. This is the biggest programme I have installed - the next being Roxio Photo at 550MB.
I'm tempted to remove GP for space reasons but would like to know if others find it and GP worthwhile.
Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this.

I am astonished to hear the size quoted. Something must be wrong. I did notice that a running process called greasypalmupdate was taking 10Mb of Ram memory for no good reason. I have no money to spend until Greasy Palm pay the £22 they owe so I will prevent this application running.

I know it is a massive install, some info on this thread that may help when you come to remove it.0

According to Rebate Catcher's entry in the Add/Remove program list it occupies 1.12GB. This has to be an error in the reporting of the size of this application. I hope that the greasy Palm technical team will get round to sorting this out and the resource gobbling of their update program.
