A few of my Remoska favourites -
white fish fillets topped with sliced tomato, shallots, peppers etc, drizzled with olive oil and balsamic and topped with dried herbs, cooked "en papillote" - in other words, in foil parcels
or salmon topped with red pesto and baked (very quick and easy, this one!)
baked stuffed aubergines - hollow out and roughly chop the centre. rub some olive oil into the shell. Mix the chopped aubergine with chopped tomato, onion and crumbled feta, herbs and seasoning (I like chili in this!) and fill the halves. Grease the Remoska and put in the aubergine halves. The leftover mix can be baked at the same time wrapped in foil.
These ALL sound DELISH!! and great on our Diet too! so thanks everso for posting! :Tanymore ideas?!

Remoska yorkie recipe here courtesty of the fabby MrsM http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=15322503&postcount=1505
I par cook the sausages for a few mins in the base of the remmy until just starting to colour and then add a bit of lard (yorkies seem to be better with lard or beef dripping) and then pour in the yorkie mixture. Its absolutely perfect for the standard sized remmy
Measure the flour first and then zero the scales - the egg and liquid mixture adds up to 260g not inc the flour IYKWIM.

I've only used my Remoska once and that was to cook a Yorkshire Pudding in. I have no idea what to use it for and was even thinking of selling it, so this thread may make me change my mind.TL0

Oooo, change your mind, hang on to it and try:-
Bread rolls - 7 made from 8oz flour etc.
A small round loaf with same quantity.
Scones, the best ever. I just do a round cut into 8
Jacket potatoes
Cottage pie
A whole chicken - delish
Pork steaks with apple and onion topping
Turkey thigh, the juices from this and the pork make smashing gravy.
Roast vegetables
A chicken pie made in a cake tin and placed in Remoska
Fairy cakes baked 6 at a time
These are just a few but do hang on to the Remoska and give it a go, it will soon be your best friend.

Haven't posted on here about my lovely Remoska for ages as we have been moving house, so hope this thread is the right one.
Please can someone tell me if I can make a lamb casserole in the Moska ? I can't remember if I've ever done it, but want to tonight. I suppose it cooks rather quickly and I would put a double layer of foil over it perhaps - any advice ? And how are all the Remoska-users out there doing ?:beer:0 -
Hi morganlefay:D
Hope that your move went well and you're all settled now!
I'm afraid that I've never done a lamb casserole in my remmy but thanks for the great idea
I would imagine that it would turn out very well but as you said cook a bit faster, good idea with the double foil wrap as it would stop it becoming dry.
I'd be interested in the results - good luck!

Thanks for the Remoska recipes. I bought a brand new remoska at a carboot sale a few weeks ago for £4 & it's fab! I've enjoyed reading through the recipes & look forward to trying them.0
