Aquarium LED - anyone know who expensive to run?
Options
I have a Biorb life aquarium which has an intelligent LED lighting system. It gives you the option of running the lights 24/7.
The unit consists of 3 small white LEDs (for the daylight phase - say 5 hours) and 1 small blue LED for the moonlight hours (19).
The only info on the unit I can find is this below. I'd like to leave the lights on 24/7 to run the the daylight/moonlight cycle but I'm wary how expensive it would be. Can anyone help?

Just looked at my led power pack (different model) and it would cost £15.00 a year to run 24/7.0

I cant see it can costs much to run, even led bulbs that have 20+ led's only consume around 2-3w maximum, granted that arent used 24/7 but I doubt it will costs more than a a tenner0
