Winter wardrobe on a budget!

I have £300-£400 to get a complete winter wardrobe!
I've saw a coat I want and won't budge on for £75 in Next (any ideas how to get discount? I don't think they do student discount!)
Really, I need some high waisted jeans, long cardigans, jumpers etc (was thinking pencil skirt, silk shirt, leggings look too) But I'm a size 16/18 and very curvy, so it's hard to find things that fit just right in Primark etc! Any advice anyone?

Ebay? Sell some summer clothes to buy yourself some winter stuff on there?

The only problem with that would be I'd need to buy this seasons stuff so I could try it on in the shop first, then buy it to know what size I'd need!
Thanks for the tips.

New Look do good jeans for larger sizes. I'd also try Uniqlo - their jumpers are pretty cheap this year. I love Monsoon, but only tend to shop there in sales unless there's something I completely adore, as they're pretty expensive.0

One of my friends tries everything she likes on first in the shops, makes a note of styles and sizes, and then hunts on Ebay. If that fails, she waits for the garments to be reduced.
I'm a TK Maxx devotee, especiallt the clearance section. As I'm curvy too, Italian suits me best, often these are in clearance because of mis-sizing by TK Maxx!0 -
YOu should be able to do just fine there with that amount. I just spent about that much and got loads of stuff from shops.0

Im in the same position, want a new winter wardrobe but not that much cash!
Im currently looking at Matalan. They do quite on trend fashions, cheap and you can buy online.
What about Dorothy Perkins?
Alos, your nearest McCarthur Glen retail Outlet may be a good try?Lovin Boots and other bargainous places!0 -

Is Italian a range of theirs?
I'm just worrying I'm spending £75 on a coat and need a good, comfy pair of boots too, which I'm fully expecting to cost £50-£100!YOu should be able to do just fine there with that amount. It's worth going to the Charity shops, they often have great Jumpers and cardi's etc, I've even managed to get brand new items for next to nothing. Sometimes it's a bit hit and miss, but defiantly worth a few looks."Live each day as if it were your last and garden as though you will live forever"

Try asda if you can bear to not buy the next coat as they have some gorg ones in for winter! Newlook as suggested also always have stuff, Tesco also sometimes really good for the basics.
