Best time to start selling for Xmas on Ebay?

I have a number of jewellry items that I've acquired wholesale that would make good xmas pressies or stocking fillers. When do people start buying for Xmas as I want to list them on Ebay as ideal for xmas pressies etc?? Personally I tend to pick small things up through the year when I see them and start my serious shopping round about end of October.

Any thoughts, ideas???

After the October week school holiday.

Perhaps start listing before that but don't go daft. If things are selling well you can always add more.

Started now with the aim of being finished before December.
  • Start early October and finish well before final posting dates!
  • I've started to a certain degree but from October 1/2 term to about 7/12 for me. After the last two Xmas I'll sell nowt in the immediate run up.

Why finish well before final posting date? This is when you will make the most money just be on the ball and offer SD right up to the last day.
