Working on multiple programs/pages on desktop?

How do I keep 2 programs open and work on them at once, ie use pageplus and use online tutorial at the same time?
Page plus doesnt resize, so when I follow the tutorial instructions I have to keep switching between the tutorial and the desktop page. How can I make the Online tutorial stay on screen and work at the same time? it must be fairly simple but have looked under help & can't find anything.

Swap pages, try ALT + TAB keys. Buy a second monitor. Use Windows 7, automatically resizes two windows.

Not true . XP has it and there is an add on for Firefox. http://www.watchingthenet.com/tile-multiple-windows-in-firefox-with-split-browser-extension.html0 -
PP doesn't resize? So it doesn't conform to standard Windows requirements? Are you sure?
Try clicking Restore (top right, middle button of the 3) and then dragging the bottom right corner to resize... Unless it's a full screen multimedia app, I've never come across an application that won't allow a window resize...0 -
Hi
Many thanks for all your replies.
The Alt + tab option doesnt work as I want to use both windows at same time.
However the tile window option - you can choose to space them vertically, horizontally or cascade - works great and is exactly what I wanted.
Pageplus does resize as well just as you said, but the tile option is much quicker & easier.
Dont know what I would do without this site & you expert 'guys'.
