Wha hay!!! Sunday morning, and one more Saturday night to knock off your chart - they seem to be the biggest bug-bear for you. Some-one else has suggested that perhaps you and your mates could get together to eat/play PS/have a few drinks - how would that go down if you suggested it? How close are you to each other? Do you think you could be open with them about why you're 'off the scene' at the moment? I'm betting that you won't be the only one who's struggling to keep it up financially, and if there were one or two more of you, perhaps you could help each other along the way. You made a remark that you've realised you only see your friends at the pub and wonder if you should get some others, but don't know how - quite a thought there. How close are you to them? If you can't tell them what you're going through, then perhaps it is time to take a risk and see if you can be a bit more supportive of each other. Or, how about doing something along the lines of the fitness thing you've been doing? Are there any local clubs which do weights? Getting going to a regular weekly thing breaks the boredom a bit, gives you a goal, and, in the longer term might give you a slightly different social group. As for dvd's - try your local library - ours has a fab range, and they're free to borrow!! A different one every night, if that's your fancy!Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0

Happytogetdebtfree - I watched a bit of Casino Royale last night, but then it stopped halfway through for the news!! How bloody annoying...just when I was getting into it aswell...then shortly after thatI fell asleep, I must be becoming a lightweight after 2 weekends off the booze; those 2 bottles of Kopparberg knocked the stuffing outta me haha
I work for an agency at the moment, at a company which make circuit boards for alarm systems. My job is to assemble, solder and test the alarm cards etc. It bores the life out of me, but unfortunately that was the best job I could get with the job market on its ars e. However I can't complain, I'm sure there are loads of people out of work that would love to have a job, whatever it is, so must count myself lucky
On the training front, I've just been really lazy this week! No other excuse reallyBut....I managed to kick my !!!! into gear and trained this evening, feel loads better for it aswell, such a calm after glow all over my body...bet I sleep well tonight....better do anyway I'm working an hour extra each morning next week so need to sleep well.
How's your weekend been???
mandragora - >> Sunday morning, and one more Saturday night to knock off your chart - they seem to be the biggest bug-bear for you.<< Well yep, you've hit the nail on the head there. It's a big alteration to my lifestyle and is taking some getting used to!! But as you say, it is one more down and 12/11 to go (depending on how hard I push myself). I actually enjoy the feeling of waking up on a Sunday morning feeling fully rested and with a clear head; something I haven't felt for years. And let's face it...the only thing that has changed here for me is the Sat night out, now being Sat night in. It's tough in that I don't see friends, but with the right frame of mind it's not too bad. Once I've been in the shower, got sorted and settled in front the TV or something, it just seems like a normal work night. It's all in the mind.
As for joining a club to do weights, unfortunately it costs about £40 per month to join a gym, plus I have all the equipment in my garage anyway...I can still have goals to work towards though, albeit on my own....for example, to get stronger etc. so that's a good way to break up the boredom a bit as you say: thanks.
And hey, I might have to try out renting dvd's from the library seen as they are free, thanks for that!!
How's your debt free journey going???
Bloody chuffing nora, this is quite possibly the longest reply I have ever written maybe I will get a pay out for repetitive strain injury??? that would help to pay off my loan quicker.....haha
