Staying at Alton Towers

Have just booked two nights for the price of one thanks to the Woolworths offer but I understand that its only bed and breakfast-no tickets included.
This isn't a problem as I will use tesco vouchers but I would like to know if I will be able to exchange the vouchers to park tickets at the hotel or will I have to go to the main entrance and queue?
I believe that there is a special shortcut entrance to the park from the hotel and I am hoping that I can make use of it rather than having to get the monorail round to the main gates.
Can anyone give me any help?

you need to exchange your tesco vouchers into alton tower vouchers through tesco. you post them off to tesco or can do it online by entering the voucher code. tescos have a very good turn around, and will get your vouchers to you as quickly as they can, usually under a week.0
