last week we bought a siamese fighter fish but as we needed to sort the tank out [the filter was already cycled] we paid and reserved him. our reservation was on the tank. written in black pen. not the brightest idea given its quite a dark shop and tanks but this is how they do it on other tanks.

today we go to collect him to find he has gone. enquire where he is and met with a 'dunno. probably been sold or dead'.

thanks for that. dead ok i can see the problem but not to know suggests that he was sold even though he was ours.

havent got a refund yet as the place was far too busy, will return on a weekday for the refund.

managed to get another in another aquatic centre.

its just bloody annoying when youve taken a lot of time looking at them all and deciding you want that particular one because he is the best looking chap.

we welcome 'chris' the fighter to our household.
