Go on the accor website and look for dates when they have good deals on. Use tripadvisor.co.uk to help you get an idea of what others think of your chosen hotels. Assuming you are free to select your own dates, you may as well go when the good deals are on. Also dont rule out splitting your stay (2 nights in one hotel, then 2 in another etc). This can help you take advantage of good deals that are on offer and it lets you sample Paris from more than one perspective. I have done this in the past (I prefer to book apartments these days, so no point in splitting).0

Hi Sammy,
Husband and I are using our free zone 1 flights for Paris in October - can't wait!
To be able to use your "free" Airmiles flights on this one, it says in the terms and conditions that you have to book your accommodation through the Airmiles website. We're staying at the Hotel Champerret Elysees which had good reviews on Tripadvisor. It's a 3 star hotel and we got it on a 3 for 2 deal on the Airmiles website.

Ello,
I did spot that in the T&C's however thought we would use that for a hotel in uk near the airport as otherwise it's a 3 hour drive for us! But 3 for 2 can't be snubbed! Will have a looksy! Thankyou.Freebies: Lipgloss, photobook, 2 x Free Flights...(More Please!) Thanks MSE
