Won item cheap , seller not responding

What do I do next ?

It's a pick up only item so haven't paid by paypal should I just pay by paypal as I imagine they'll continue to ignore me as they hoped it'd go higher.

How long have you been contacting them? If it has been 5 days or more then yes i might be tempted to pay by paypal to see what they do.

Thanks, only been 4 days but I figure they're ignoring me,to be honest I'm not that bothered if they renege on the deal as I'd be unhappy to have sold the item for the price it went for. Just need to know as there's a similar item ending soon I can get but don't want to end up with two.

They're a new 0 rated seller and stuck it up for 99p so I'm not out to do them over and i'd probably feel guilty handing over the cash when I picked it up but don't want to leave it only to end up with a non paying strike

That's why I suggest paying for it, then you are covered against anything that the seller tries.

You could contact the seller and see if they are willing to accept a bit more money for cash. It depends on how much you want the item. Personally I would pay and then report it. If they started an item at 99p they should have been willing to accept the price it sold for. If they wanted more they should have started it higher.
  • Pay for the item via Paypal, within the week so as to avoid any NPB action from the seller. Then do a contact information request, via the advanced search item. This sends you the contact details of the seller, as well as emailing them to let them know yours, and that you requested it. This may remind them to contact you, and if not, you can give them a ring to ask about sorting out collection for your item.
