Can't believe there are so many days left until pay day. And I have just had to pay out £167 for MOT and service. Luckily tax is due AFTER pay day, even if it is only 7 days after!!

Tough few weeks if I want to stay in credit.

A while since my last update and I was right ... it has been a tough month! I am hovering £18 in credit and have to find petrol for next week. Looks like I may take a small dip into my overdraft at the end of the month, but it has been a busy month!

End of this month should see the first payment of my new pay scale so that will be a welcome bonus. Money for tax has been put away and hopefully there won't be too many other costs.

A while ago I thought I could be debt free by the end of 2010. That looks unlikely now, but I will make it my aim to pay more off, put more month away and make myself debt free as soon as feasibly possible.

Morning All!! Decided I need to 'do' something. I've decorating this weekend, but I mean something to 'do' that is different. Maybe I need to read a book, paint a picture or something. But I need something to do that isn't work orientated or just a 'chore'. Answers on a postcard and I'll see what I actually doing on this exciting Sunday.

I watched Disney's Up in the end - was nice to chill with a film, but still feel that I need to 'do' something. Need a hobby!!

Didn't get my bonus wages starting this month in the end but did get £40 extra due to inflation rise % or something! It does mean that I will get double next month owed to me - not entirely sure how much that will be, but will certainly handy in the run to (dare I say it) Christmas!

Not too much else to report. Two more book sales this week. I've got my budget set out in my head, just need to stick to it this month as I found last month really difficult.

Off out for a curry now - a treat for a stressful week!!

Quick signature update before I leave - not great viewing, but have to tell myself that it's better than last month (even if only a little better) and did end up spending £160 on car service and £70 on tax in last two weeks.

Somehow I managed to spend the most last night at MY birthday meal - not quite sure how that happened!! It was worth it though!!

Oh, I've only just realised that this time a year ago I was in my 'Light Bulb Moment' phase - how weird that was a year ago this month!!
