Rent out house - Key worker.

Advice needed please. I own a two bed flat that I've been in for 4 years. I bought it through the key worker scheme but have recently started a relationship with someone who also owns a house. I have not been living in the flat for nearly 4 months and would like to rent it out although not allowed on the scheme.
I'm not sure what to do about it and I would like to do things by the book. Does anyone know whether it would be possible to rent out a home through this scheme?
You don't see things happening like this when you go through the process. Advice would be nice please.

If you're not allowed then those are the rules.
If you don't need it, sell it.Been away for a while.0 -
If you have only just started this relationship recently are you sure you want to move in with her already?make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

If its 'by the book' then there probably won't be an option to rent out. I know that occasionally for bereavement or unavoidable temporary reasons you can approach the agent (presumably HA) who organised the sale but this appears to be a lifestyle choice.
Also, I would advise checking your home and contents insurance as many standard policies have a rule that if you are not in occupation for over 30 days then you can't make a claim and are therefore not covered, you would need to notify the company of your changed circumstances and pay an amended premium.0
