Hi there, this is my first time on this forum and also a first time buyer . I have been looking at a few houses all in the region of £70000 . Almost every home I have looked at though says " in excess of ". One property which caught my eye was this - ** HOME REPORT AVAILABLE **
Upper cottage flat. Comp hall, lounge, dining rm, fit kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms, gas ch, dl/glazed, gardens. BUE090056.
A charming, elevated upper cottage flat located in a much sought after area of Rutherglen. yet close to Kings Park and within walking distance of the train station on Kings Park Avenue.
The property offers spacious accommodation for first time buyers or similar and has been well maintained by the present owner. Early viewing of this charming property is highly recommended.
The accommodation on offer comprises of lower vestibule with stairs leading to upper reception hallway with doors off to all main apartments, attractive lounge, formal dining room (third bedroom), fitted kitchen with floor and wall mounted units, gas hob and electric oven, plumbing for washing machine, space for upright fridge freezer, one and a half bowl stainless steel sink with side drainer and mixer tap, tiled walls. The bathroom has a three piece suite comprising wc, wash hand basin and bath with telephone style shower and additional Mira electric shower and two good sized bedrooms.
The property benefits from gas central heating and is part double glazed. There are gardens to the side and rear.
Rutherglen offers a range of local shopping facilities. Glasgow City Centre is approximately four or five miles by private car. The road network allowed access to the motorway network, and recreation amenities with the area include several public parks, Tennis Clubs and Golf Courses.
Council Tax Band C
It says offers in excess of £69000 , I have no idea what to offer if anyone has any idea they are appreciated.
Thanks.
Danny.

I'm not familiar with buying processes in Scotland, but to be valued at £69K now makes a council tax band C seem far too high! I'd say B or maybe even A.0

£62.3k. I've bid way-way-way below the "offers over" stated price (and won!) in Scotland...
Cheers!
