Reviving an old claim

Can anyone offer me a little advice on what to do next?
I started pursuing a claim against a building society and got to the stage of sending/serving a 'letter before action'. this was in April 2007.
I never pursued this any further since.
Also, i cannot find any of the correspondance that they sent to me (I only have a copy of the letters on my PC).
Thanks
Ms Bubbles

- Should I re-start the claim?
- Continue where I left it?
- Am I stuck in this OFT trial with everyone else?
Thanks

I think if you haven't kept paper copies of the documentation and you cannot retrieve any of the documents then start from the beginning again. The BS will acknowledge the claim and you will be in the queue.
You are stuck with everyone else.0 -
Thanks for your advice.
However, I've since located all the original documentation.- list of charges presented by the building society
- acknowledgement letters etc
- the last letter from the BS was 4th May '07 basically stating 'very sorry you are unhappy, we disagree, you can go to the FSA if still unhappy'
I
Is my cliam likley to still be logged with the BS?
NB - the value of the claim will not have changed (other than interest) as i no longer bank there
I was thinking of reminding them of the complaint and going straight to the next step?
If this sound viable, what would the next step be?
thanks for you assistance0 -

Write to them again with an LBA and schedule of charges. Once you have a response you'll be sorted out.0 -
Thanks for your comments
You help is very much appreciated
I will re-send the LBA and see what response I get
