Invesment Shares or Other

I would like to make a small investment into companies or a company which i can make regular payments montly or yearly into the market in india. Is there a reputable company i can use or is there another route someone can advise that would give a good return and is safe to do. Any help would be great.

Without making a recommendation, for regular investment a UT or OEIC are usually the best for small amounts, however there are very few India specific funds out there - although there are a few BRIC funds (Brazil, Russia, India, China). There are some India specific investment trusts, but if the regular amount is small, dealing charges could be significant.

You can't really ask for a specific recommendation I'm afraid - you'll have to do your own research, or pay someone to do it for you.
