Can I eat potatoes that have self seeded?
Options
I have been sorting the garden today and I have had quite a few potato plants that have self seeded from about two years. I unearthed quite a few poatoes and they look alright. Probably a silly question but will they be alright to eat? I know you buy potatoes tubers each year to plant so I wasn't sure if it is safe to eat self seeders. Thanks

Yes they should be alright to eat, any with green bits cut off or if totally green don't eat.0

They will be fine.
you just have to be wary of pots growing in the same places each year due to diseases
If they look ok they will taste just fine0
