I would recommend you look at Purlfrost film - we have the plain frosted film fitted to a few windows which overlook the street and it looks great and can be removed using a hairdryer if you ever needed to:

Like everything, price is often dependant on location. £60 supply and fit for the bottom pane in West Yorkshire, but a lot more than that in Surrey !.................
