Got stage one letter off to the bank but my wife shredded the reply letter i got from the bank by accident. All i can remember from the letter is something along the lines off "my request being handed over to a investigation department" or something. Should i expect any more letters before i start stage 2 or do i act now continuing the process?

You could contact them to ask for a copy of the letter if you want to, they may send one on request, and you have this then in case you have to refer to this.
I agree with Melorablack, it looks like they are still investigating, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
