acer desktop - any good

was in pcworld yesterday (gasp) and noticed this.. have a acer laptop which we bought a few months ago and the wifes more than happy with it

is it any good guys :confused: im getting frustated with my pc as its slow and loud and i have been looking for a new pc for a while now but what looks a good deal is then shot down by grapics card not upto scratch or some other lame piece of kit they build in

i wanna spend around £500 i keep looking on a daily basis at threads but just cant decide what to buy

    Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
    Its a tri core chip when other brands offer the Quad core instead.
    The biggest concern is that its from PC World more than anything else.
