Anyone used MCS Technology for a pc?

Hi all

I'm after a pc (after mine terminally crashed) to connect to the internet. I've come across this site called MCS Technology which does Dell refurbs.

Would anyone have used them at all? Recommendations?

If anyone's seen a deal for a pc for net use - don't play games, just a lot of reading, some downloading - could they let me know please?

Budgets about £250 - £300

Cheers all.

Do you need a monitor to go with that, or is your current one good enough?
Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.
  • Monitor would be nice but I have an old one to be going on with.

(actually looking to get one of those 22-24 hd thingys eventually!)

    Thanks

I haven't yet used them myself but found them on here once as recommended(they are reasonably local hence my interest). I did recommend them to others though based on the reviews on here and a couple of people I know bought laptops from them that they were more than happy with. If was further away I may be more cautious but so far the signshave been good. Search on here and you may find the thread that originally pointed me to them
