Can anyone advise about my post-bankruptcy?

  • Hi C&D

At a quick glance your actually paying your mum £433 a month rent as you say you pay £100 a week (100 x 52 divided by 12= 433)
I can't see anything for the £80 a week your paying your wife. As already mentioned, has this gone through the CSA, as thats seems a lot for your income? SORRY FORGOT TO ADD THAT THERE!

I doubt any OR is going to allow £500 a month for petrol. You can get a flight to New York for that amount! You may need to keep reciepts as proof, but even then i doubt it would be allowed. I KNOW, DIFFICULT, BUT THAT IS THE COST OF WORKING 5 DAYS, THEN TRAVELLING UP AND DOWN COUNTRY AT THE MINUTE
Also, your car may have just cost a lot but over a year £720 is a huge amount and the cost of a fairly decent second hand car.AGAIN, YES THIS ISNT EVERY MONTH I PAY OUT LIKE THAT, BUT THEY ASK FOR HONEST COSTS AND AS SAID, IVE JUST PAID OUT THIS IN GARAGE COSTS
The college amount is almost certainly going to be disallowed.THOUGHT AS MUCH TOO
Presents are also unlikely to be allowed, but leave and see.
You could up the clothing amount a little and add in some money for a holiday.

I do think your looking at an IPO though....sorry, not what you wanted to hear.
    Hope that helps a little

Thanks for help, my answers are the capital lettered ones for anyone who reads, jsut not sure how to reply without qouting it all at once, but thanks for your help yes, alan.
  • ok, here goes. not sure if im missing things out though, just says that ive got some expendible money, not sure about that though! ive guessed at a few things, say groceries, and child related things. when i get my son we do spend money, not ridiculous but still do, also things like clothes for him, even just a cheap top or something adds up, and dont really spoil myself. not done for ages with being all in loads of debt over the years, now it has gone but other things have come with split etc. anyway...........here are my current outgoings, sorry if some seem unrealistic but they monthly ones like clothing are sort of guesses

Also think maybe the car maintenence is pretty high, but i honestly paid 330 on saturday for car work, new clutch and a brake - trust me im used to living on not much and would not have got it done had the car been driving so bad.

anyway, any help here would be fantastic, thanks again, alan

Do you have breakdown cover? Do you wear suits to work?
