Can anyone advise about my post-bankruptcy?

hi i was made bankrupt in dec 08, and deemed not to have to pay any money back as all outgoings were stretched really. Now changed situations totally, and OR has asked for a review. thing is i got lots of help from CCCS last time to go bankrupt, but struggling to get help on a review really other than tell them what you pay out. Can anyone else help with my outgoings?? sorry bit vague, ill give a quick rundown.
was living in northeast of country at time of BR. Now split with wife, moved home to parents (deadly!), and changed job.
specicics - i earn 1600 pcm. pay mum 100 per week to live there. pay wife 80 per week for her and my son (she said that was the advice she received on agreeable amounts). I work in a local city and costs me about 40 per week petrol. also ive been spending every weekend travelling up or meeting wife half way and getting son, that is about 70 per week in petrol alone. the only other confirmed outgoing is really a college course ive started, 100 per month for 4 months, so not forever but im paying that a min (115 to be precise).
so outgoings are
400 living at mums
360 paying wife
160 work petrol
280 petrol to northeast
115 college course
now these are my genuine outgoings to date, but are they really ok or to will the OR not accept these, maybe there are limits on petrol allowance or the college course is my own choice so not really a necessity? there are of course other things that i havent included like phone credit, car insurance, car repairs (just paid 330 for new clutch and brakes last week grrr). this is a pretty new situation as ive just had a massive life change splitting with wife, moving, new job, and has been difficult. worried OR will now say i have to pay money back for a couple of years, just worried that i may not be able to continue course, or cut down on journeys.
im sure you can read by my ramblings that im worried and a bit confused. is there anyone here who can maybe advise on what things i have to do, or should include or exclude? got a lot of help last time but bit by myself now and any help would be really appreciated.
many thanks, alan.

Hi, I dont know about whether the OR will agree the amounts but £400 is reasonable accommodation expenses in my eyes. Is the amount you pay your ex in line with CSA guidelines? I also dont know whether they would see the petrol as excessive, someone with more knowledge on this should be along shortly

You do not have any car insurance or maintenance amounts, also a clothing, holiday allowance (about £30-40 per month for you and your son) and child activities (£5 per week). You could include a grocery budget for lunches at work. Do you have a mobile phone? Do you wear suits for work that need dry cleaning?
At the moment the outgoings you have listed would put you in the position of an IPA (I think its £1415 worked out in my head but my maths isnt too great) as you have over £99 surplus. Think about what you actually pay for each month, not just the main outgoings.

Don't forget £200 on housekeeping. Once you fill in the SOA post it on here as that makes it easier for us to see what you're missing out. When you fill it in at the bottom is a button to click to format for MSE. Its really easy and you seem to already have all the figures.

ok, here goes. not sure if im missing things out though, just says that ive got some expendible money, not sure about that though! ive guessed at a few things, say groceries, and child related things. when i get my son we do spend money, not ridiculous but still do, also things like clothes for him, even just a cheap top or something adds up, and dont really spoil myself. not done for ages with being all in loads of debt over the years, now it has gone but other things have come with split etc. anyway...........here are my current outgoings, sorry if some seem unrealistic but they monthly ones like clothing are sort of guesses

Also think maybe the car maintenence is pretty high, but i honestly paid 330 on saturday for car work, new clutch and a brake - trust me im used to living on not much and would not have got it done had the car been driving so bad.
anyway, any help here would be fantastic, thanks again, alan0 -

Hi C&D
At a quick glance your actually paying your mum £433 a month rent as you say you pay £100 a week (100 x 52 divided by 12= 433)
I can't see anything for the £80 a week your paying your wife. As already mentioned, has this gone through the CSA, as thats seems a lot for your income?
I doubt any OR is going to allow £500 a month for petrol. You can get a flight to New York for that amount! You may need to keep reciepts as proof, but even then i doubt it would be allowed.
Also, your car may have just cost a lot but over a year £720 is a huge amount and the cost of a fairly decent second hand car.
The college amount is almost certainly going to be disallowed.
Presents are also unlikely to be allowed, but leave and see.
You could up the clothing amount a little and add in some money for a holiday.
I do think your looking at an IPO though....sorry, not what you wanted to hear.
Hope that helps a littleThe first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter
