Excel Invoice template

I have an Invoice template in Excel format which works out my tax and deducts it.
I would like to be able to then send the invoice via email.
I want to do this as a word document as I am not sure that all companys will have Excel.
Can this be done and if so how?
I have looked at the save as box but could not see a word doc.

Have you tried to Paste as Special into Word. Have you Googled..plenty there.

You can use a mailmerge to export as a .doc or alternatively, write a macro to do it for you.

Yes I did try paste and to be fair it worked apart from the total was on page 2.

Print it as a pdf document using primopdf (free) and then email the pdf.

If you are using Excel 2007 you can save as .pdf

I would have thought most companies have Excel or some other spreadsheet program?
