Quoting Posts [Please Ignore for now]

It is very easy to quote a post in your reply. Simply click the Quote icon in the bottom-right of the post you would like to quote:

This will open the reply box with the text from the post you want to quote surrounded by 'quote tags':

Anything inside thes quote tags ( [ quote ] [ /quote ] ) will be inside a quote box when you submit your reply:

You can make any text appear in a Quote Box by highlighting it and clicking the button:



Which will surround the text in Quote tags:



and put it in a box for you when you post the reply:



You can attribute the text to its author by adding = followed by a name to the Quote tag as you can see in the image below:



which will add "Originally posted by name" to the text



This is very useful if you want to quote several posts in a single reply, or you want to quote from a different thread.

You can simply copy and paste text then use the technique above to put it in a quote box

You can use the icon to quote text while using the Quick Reply box at the bottom of every thread.

Siimply click the icon beside the post you want to quote:



Type your reply and be sure to tick the "Quote message in reply?" box



the post in which you clicked the button will be quoted above your reply:
