OK thanks for that, now i look deeper into it and open up the application i am not sure i will be accepted as i am a non resident for the moment and it also asks for a phone number, which would be in West Africa at the moment, so think i will wait until home before applying for it.

This applies to all credit cards. Also, you need to be on the electoral roll at your UK address
