Cheap Hotel/B&B required in Northampton

I am looking for a cheap Hotel/B&B in Northampton (as close to Town Centre as is possible) for May 20th.
I have scoured the threads and internet specifically looking at the Days Inn offer (if beaten we'll do for free) but nowt in the area and also looking at Travel Lodge site (but this is £46 for night).
Does anyone know of any cheap places / discounts or special offers ?
