I will start at the beginning.
My son is a great fan of Cold Play, in December 08 I decided to buy him 2 tickets for a concert on tonight at Old Trafford. I went on line and paid £157 for the 2 tickets through theonlineticketshop.
My son was over the moon, even though it meant waiting until the 12th September 09 to see them.
8th Sept I received an email 'Tickets will be dispatched shortly and will be with you this week'.. I gave 2 days and when they hadn't arrived tried to phone their office. The phone rang out for a long time and then some man just said 'hello', heard me say something about tickets and hung up!! I knew then something was seriously wrong.
I emailed them and was emailed back saying they were sorting out collection at the event of tickets and would be in touch.
I then received the following email: 'We apologise for the delay regarding the collection details for tomorrow's event. We will have this information for you either tonight or first thing tomorrow morning'
By lunch time today there had been no emails... nothing. I phoned their number and this time it didn't even ring out, just went dead.
My son is devastated and I feel so bad. I just don't know what to do. He says he is going with the invoice to see if there is anyone there with tickets. I know there won't be, how do I go about seeking money back and compensation.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Sharon

How did you pay for the tickets? You may be able to get your money back, but you certainly will not get compensation.Gone ... or have I?0

Thank you for your reply.
I paid by egg card, I have phoned them and they are sending me a form.
Just read back my original message... I don't wish to make money out of this, however I do not think that they should be allowed to get away with this. Not just for me, but for everyone else. I have just been on review.com and have found so many similar stories, wish I had read that before using their ticket service.
The bottom line is, if nobody does anything this will go on and on. People being disappointed, losing money and wasting time trying to get what they have paid for.
If I get my money back, that would be good. This Company do not deserve to be in business and I feel quite helpless in knowing how to make a stand against them.0 -
They are hosted by 1&1 internet.
Might be worth sending them an abuse contact.
