empty RTMP url??

yesterday I bought a laptop and set it up onto my wireless orange box. My boyfriend has been trying to get onto his West Brom site and when he signs in it say "empty rtmp url" He thinks it happened because I have gone onto wireless with my laptop, I cannot get on to the site too on my laptop,, can anyone advise me what has happened and how I can fix this please

The problem is most likely at the website. If you are using a flash player you could try reinstalling it but otherwise it's out of your hands.

You've not given enough info to be sure (you don't say what OS you have, nor exactly which website you mean), but it could be a firewall problem. If you have a software firewall on the laptop it's worth turning it off temporarily to test.

RTMP should normally be able to tunnel via Port 80, but you may need to enable Port 1935 if the service provider has set up their server in an unconventional way.

I am now thinking it is the website as I remember over a year ago my partner couldn't get the commentary on then.

I'm well pleased with my laptop (Acer aspire), i'm bonding with it well, it's alot different from my pc and not having a mouse is quite challenging but i know I will get used to it.

I can now take it to work and do all my paperwork there now instead of at home with it being so portable,

well I'd just like to inform you that my boyfriend couldn't get onto the site because his subscription has expired, they didn't let us know though. I am just glad it wasn't my fault:j
