Got a ticket in edinburgh - appealed as i had a valid pay and display ticket - appeal declined as i had parked in a single yellow line area (photo supplied by warden), now the lines are well faded and barely visable, but it appears that i parked in an area that has the space for one vehicle, between two areas of pay and display the photo does show this too(white lined parking slots).
so what they say is the area i parked in is the only yellow lined area in Heriot Row? sheeesh
Should i continue to apeal or pay the fine?
Just feel that it was not clearly a yellow lined area, honestly never even noticed it when i checked the area after getting the ticket.
Any help appreciated.

Check the stickies and post up piccies of lines and signs, pcn (both sides) and hopefully someone will be able to help you. Being north of the border has its own problems.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
