Cruising from Dover

Hi,
I want to try a cruise next year (norwegian ffjords) but I do not want to fly  I cannot find any details for Dover departures
I have heard that one can 'look over' ships before deciding what cruise, has anyone done this and how do you find out the dates of ships being in port?
Thanks

Quite a few cruise ships also depart from Southampton, Harwich (Essex) and the Marco Polo leaves from London many of which also visit the Norwegian Fjords. As well as Cruise Critic, cruise.co.uk is a great website for UK passengers.
Hope this helps!0 -
Sorry, also meant to say that the Dover Harbour Board website will let you know which ships are due to depart from there here is the link

The link below will show, by month, which ships are due to dock in Dover.

It's not all inclusive but does cover over a dozen mainstream cruiselines.

Without appearing to be be rude Carmen- how old are you ?
I went to Norway from Dover with Saga in July. They were very, very, very good ! But you have to be 50+ to book.
Been with Cunard a few times and Saga were miles better. On paper they look expensive, but there is so much included in their price: tips, insurance, travel to/from Dover. The ships are much better; smaller, fewer passengers, much better service.
Even the few things you have to buy on board are much cheaper - Cunard coffee about £2 + 15% service charge; Saga 50p - no service charge; Coffee is free on both if you make it yourself !
