Leasehold Buildings Insurance

I own my own flat but have to pay Buildings Insurance to the leasehold management company. The fee I was asked to pay for buildings insurance alone was £200. The flat is only worth around £80,000 in the current market and I have obtained quotes for combined buildings and contents insurance for less than £100. I contacted the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal who said they could take up the case for me but it costs a fee of £50 to do so. I wrote to my Leasehold company and explained that I viewed the cost as excessive, telling them that I was prepared to go to the tribunal too. After receiving my lettter I spoke with them on the telephone and they indicated the tribunal was not a road they wished to follow. I have since received a revised bill of £147.19 without any explanation. I assume my fellow residents have not recieved refunds if they have already paid. I still think £147 is excessive. My parents pay less and their property is worth £300k! Does anyone have any advice on what I should do? I'd rather not have to pay the £50 fee but would even just to prove the point! Thanks (first post hope it's ok)
