Replacement Knobs for cooker

I have just bought a clearance cooker from b&q. All good but i do need to get replacement knobs for the oven and hob. I was hoping to find some generic black or silver ones but having searched on internet/ebay I have had no luck.
Anyone have any ideas how best to source these?
I think I can order from hotpoint (cooker) and Whirlpool (hob) but they look to be about 15 each for a very plain cheap bit of plastic
Has nyone had any luck sourcing something like this?
thanks in advance

Hi Trigger,
Get me a make and a mode and I'll see what I can do.
You problem is that there are no generic knobs as, for starters, you have...-
Different shaft sizes
Different offsets
Different shaft lengths
Different requirements so the front doesn't catch
Different colours
Different functions
Different temperature ranges
Basically, they're pretty unique to each model so if you splash out on something from another make, they likely won't do.

Thanks kwatt
there is a whirlpool hob akm613ix and a hotpoint oven sy37x
I've still not been able to find anything for them.0 -
Have you tried espares?
kwatt is right, you won't get generic knobs - all knobs for gas hobs have safety features which are going to make the knobs quite unique to a brand if not the model.
I bought a clearance AEG hob from Comet and they ordered the replacement knobs for me. For free.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Hi trigger,
Ouch!
The Hotpoint ones list at about £13 a throw.
The Whirlpool ones, as is expected with Whirlpool parts, are stupidly priced at £16 each!
I can get them for you no problem but they are all factory/manufacturer orders, nobody has UK stock showing and if you're told different it's tosh.
I'd expect the usual 7-15 working day leadtime on them.
