BOL rubbish

Ordered books on 30th Nov, for Christmas. Money goes out of account that day.

Then saw books would take AGES to come though, not the
few days they said.

Made a cancellation order on 12th Dec.

On the 22nd Dec hear back from them, sorry, some items have gone out, so can't do it. However some items had not, but they still ignore my request on remaining items.

Had received no more books, remaining items still not cancelled.

Hopeless.

    I have had a similar problem with BOL ...

    I ordered on the 3rd November assuming it would arrive by xmas, an order did arrive with 3 right books (good) but 1 wrong book (bad).

    I phoned customer service who said obviously a warehouse problem, sent me a returns slip and told me the book would be reordered and it would arrive in time for xmas. At this point everything seems fine, so I return the book.

    A week before xmas i suddely remember the missing order and with no idea when the bol delivery is due I buy the book in the shops for about £5 more than the bol price. I tell bol I no longer require the book and to send me a refund, which they say they cannot do, only credit my account with the balance....I say okay, no probs.

    It is now a week after the new year and there is no sign of a delivery, or a refund. I have tried to contact bol but they are always busy, and i have racked up much more than the difference in costs of books calling their 0870 number!!

    Avoid BOL!! Their books are much cheaper than the high street but customer service is diabolical and delivery is extremely slow. It just isn't worth the effort!!

    Have a similar order date and problem.

    Asked their cus-service for help and they suggest I look around for the parcel !!

    Asked how it was despatched but they won't tell.

    Am right now about to write a very nasty letter tothem and formally complain to credit card company asking for a chargeback.

    A visit to BOL.COM has left me seriously disillusioned. Luckily some other companies know about quality e-commerce.

    might wanna try saynoto0870.com they have a local/national number for bol instead of the 0870 one
