Where would I go about ordering clothes for a shop/website?

Hi, This is just a hypothetical question that I'm hoping someone can answer. Say if I wanted to open up my own clothes shop/website etc, selling alternative (but not weird and ott) clothing such as punky fish where would I need to go to order them? I've tried to google but I don't really know what I'm looking for.
Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

The best way to research a market is to find the trade publication, which usually details exhibitions and suppliers.

The biggest publishers of trade publication are Reed and VNU

do a Google and get to their web sites and then get a list of their trade publications then request a copy of one for your industry.

Google does not easily show the depth of what you are seeking and you need to first know where to look...

Please let me know if this is of help

If you live in London, there are some great wholesale markets in the East End - so I am told. If you live elsewhere, try esources a directory of wholesale items with loads of categories. We advertise our Beaded Handbags & Costume jewellery there and find that most of our customers are in the West Country or North of Watford.

I want to purchase goth wholesale clothing. Has anyone got any idea of where to get it?

I checked esources using the keywords "gothic" and "clothing" and it came up with 2 wholesale suppliers:

    http://www.esources.co.uk/search-suppliers/gothic-clothing/

Putting in keywords "gothic" and "clothes" instead, produced one more supplier.
