Re-selling ebooks information bought, what would you do

Know you will be able to help me with this one. Morally and legally
I bought information about a popular item that I needed.
It is really good advice.
The seller has not stated that it is copyright to him/her.
Would you re-sell???
I have thought of the earning potential and could probably market the information abit better.
How do I stand on this? Apart from upsetting the seller, can he/she have a legal claim for me selling the information they have sent to me?

I'd say that the very fact of your asking the question suggests to me that you feel uneasy about the moral issue. I would not be able to do it without getting the permission of the originator of the material."Some say the cup is half empty, while others say it is half full. However, this is skirting around the issue. The real problem is that the cup is too big."0

quite a few ebay books can be found here :

If you want to avoid the moral dillema, and its not already listed there, i think you can submit it there, so everyone else gets it for free :-)
not totally related i know, but perhaps it will save you having to spend money on ebooks in future :-)0 -
I think you may find that, even if it doesn't say copyright on it, there may well be a constructive copyright (can't think of a better word). As well as that, you admit that you found the information useful - now you want to cheat the writer of his/her market? It's not the nicest way to say thank you.

Morally............ you know you shouldn't do it by the tone of your post...true?
Legally.............I'd make VERY SURE there's no copyright to the book, because if there is and you plagiarise it you could be inviting trouble. Just because the seller hasn't stated that it's not copyrighted doesn't mean it isn't.
Remember also that the seller has your details and proof about you buying it from them so he/she'd have little problem proving his/her case if it came to the worst.
I don't mean to sound like the voice of doom......sorry if it reads that way.
mikeif i had known then what i know now0
