PPI Reclaim Success

Should you have a PPI policy that is outside the remit of the FOS(for date reasons or other) keep at it...go to small claims court...claims up to £5000, fees not too exorbitant, paperwork fairly easy..just keep copies of any letters you have sent to PPI provider.

We recently succeeded in being refunded by a large financial organisation who intially quoted the Credit Care Act, which is not relevant.
Eventually they paid under the basis of saving themselves cost(despite them having no defence whatsoever)..a couple of weeks before actually going to court.

Also make sure you claim interest at statutory 8% from date policy started (this could be a substantial amount and you are entitled to it) and also your own costs.

Bear in mind the organisation will have to pay exorbitant fees to their solicitors to defend themselves, so this helps you because it adds to the overall cost to the organisation if they had to go to court.

Good Luck! Keep at it!
