Argh - I am SO fed up with Royal Mail.
I paid for a year's redirect, which I could barely afford but was a neccessity.
Within the first three months, more than half of my mail still goes to the old address.
I'm on my 5th complaint to Royal Mail, as for the last month not just the Management of the local sorting office, but also Area Managment are supposed to have been supervising my redirected mail.
Since Mgmt have been involved, now some of my mail is now being returned to sender instead of redirected!!!:mad::mad:
They offered me a partial refund (just under £10), I'm now entitled to a full refund and waiting a manager call back for the last 2 days..
I received the cheque for the partial refund but don't want to cash it in case it's easier to shred it and they send me 1 cheque for the full refund.
Arrgh!
Sorry, needed to vent and this seems the appropriate board to do so

I know I'm in my own little world, but it's ok - they know me here!

You could speak to the new owners/tennant and ask if they would mind forwarding your mail? Make it easy, give them some stickers to put on for mail re-direction or several large pre-addressed pre-paid envelopes."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Thanks, indeed, that's what they did with the post that got sent back to sender!
It was put back in postbox (according to RM advice) and she handwrote on it "adhere to redirect" - RM then returned it to sender!
Such a joke!
Just had great customer services manager on the line though,so have to praise them (it's not their fault) - I get to keep partial refund as goodwill gesture and she's mailing me out a full refund cheque today as well.
Still wouldn't begrudge the money of the service would just work!
