Just having one of those days....well every day feels like that lately. Feeling really down and wondering when things will get any easier.

Could you try having a family meeting with your 4 oldest (teenage) kids?
Sit them down and be open and honest with them about the family budget. Tell them:
* How much you earn (salary and benefits)
* Bills (rent/mortgage, gas, elec, water, council tax, insurance)
* food/essentials costs
* Uniform costs
* pocket money
Then show them how much (little) money is left over for luxuries and things they want, so as much as you'd love to give them these things, you can't afford it.
Ask them for their input, any suggestions they have to save money or get more, encourage them to get jobs etc... Being open and honest with them will make them feel more like a family unit, so they'll give you less stress!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
